As I walk through another November, I am keenly aware of our Country’s month for special Celebrations and Holidays. Yet this year has been extremely difficult for many people…my own life and family included. During this time, the Lord gave me a Scripture, along with excerpts from the devotional Jesus Calling to uplift my heart. I share with you from my “Corner” because I am so grateful for my APM sisters and daughters! Let us praise God for His love and for each other!
I was reminded while in the hospital of a favorite story in Genesis.
Genesis 50:20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
Here we see how satan meant EVIL in the circumstances of Joseph’s life, but God turned them into GOOD. I’m watching God do this for me again in my physical body…Praise the Lord!
November 25, 27, 28……….……………………………Jesus Calling by Sarah Young
“A life of praise and thankfulness becomes a life filled with MIRACLES. Instead of trying to be in control, you FOCUS on Me and what I am doing. This is the power of praise: centering your entire being in Me. Let your body, mind and spirit relax in My Presence. When your mind is occupied with thanking Me, you have no time for worrying or complaining. Relax in the deep assurance of My unfailing LOVE. Draw near to Me, and My Presence will fill you with joy and peace. “
I Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He CARES for you.
Psalm 107:21, 22 Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love…let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of His works with SONGS of JOY.
Romans 15:13 May the God of HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit.
“Difficulty is the very atmosphere of miracle. It is a miracle in its first stage. If it is to be a great miracle, the condition is not difficulty but impossibility.” Taken from October 14 Streams in the Desert 1 by Mrs. Charles E. Cowman ©1925
Blessings and love to you in this precious season of Thanksgiving.
