Approach

Our call and our mandate as CA Aglow Prison Ministry is to go into facilities, wherever women are incarcerated, and bring them the good news of salvation, life and hope through Jesus Christ. We do this sharing the Word, prayer, counseling and fellowship. We set a Christian example for them as a role model and unconditionally love them with the Love of the Lord.

The ministry of Aglow to women in prison is very close to the heart of God. As we share the love and compassion of Jesus with them, we are fulfilling what He said, “I was in prison and you came to me…  Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it unto one of these brethren of mine, even the least of them, you did it unto me.” (Matthew 25:36, 40)

Just as Jesus humbly washed the feet of his disciples, all who function in the Prison Ministry have that same heart of a servant. We can truly say, “I have freely and happily become a servant of all so that I can win them to Christ.” (1 Corinthians 9:19)

These women are members of Aglow Prison Ministry Teams that go into California jails and prisons.
