Trips to Women’s Prisons took many hours of driving. Recently, I’ve discovered watching “TV Baseball games” takes many hours, but my Route goes down “Memory Lane”! In the 1950’s, I earned my College Tuition as Playground Director for an Elementary School. My job was Organize and Oversee Games & Sports after School and during Summer. It was not only fun, but taught Bible TRUTHS to last a lifetime. Apostle Paul has wise advice in Philippians 3:13-14 “Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are ahead, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” It does NOT matter how the situation looks at the moment. STAY FOCUSED & keep going. Things can change. It is NOT how you START, buthow you FINISH.
I learned to give Prizes for every event…even Kite and Marble Contests! We won Baseball Games by “hope & loud cheers”! Some kids returned each summer to play for our Teams and made All-City Playoffs. One boy, David Marshall, became a Professional with NY METS. My son collected his Baseball Card in the 1960’s!

I loved being their COACH, yelling words like these: “Wow! You’re doing great!” “Just keep going! You can do it! The Game is NOT over yet…YAY!”
JESUS is our “Supernatural” COACH. He cheers-us-on with His PROMISES. Let us SHOUT them often…during the good or bad times. God sees us as OVERCOMERS! FORGET old fearful words, FOCUS on the Prize, and CHEER with HOPE!
YOU ARE A WINNER!
